I am truly very sorry for what happened and still happens in Japan in these days.. I think we all should give a hand to help people, in any way we can.

Mi piace l'arte, in tutte le sue forme ma quando ho visto queste sculture sono rimasta interdetta.. non ho una ben precisa risposta alla domanda: "Perche' l'artista l'ha creata?", la mia interpretazione personale e' semplice: "Perche' voleva fare qualcosa di provocatorio, controverso, arrogante ed irritante!".

Rispolverando il portale di italia.it mi e' venuta la curiosita' di vedere come se la sono cavata "gli altri".
Una rapida ricerca, con relativa scrematura, ed ecco che cosa e' saltato fuori: l'impressione generale e' piu' che buona, i siti che ho visitato sono ben navigabili, hanno informazioni piu' o meno esaurienti e le fotografie sono veramente accattivanti.
Ogni team di sviluppatori ha concepito il portale come un tramite per conoscere la cultura, i luoghi di interesse, il turismo d'elite e quello "de' noattri", senza tralasciare il cibo e l'accoglienza.

In all these weeks I've tried to set up a post on ./lsd featuring traditional artists; I've found some amazing works and have sent a note to all of the artists asking to add a small comment under their work. Only a few answered back, unfortunately.
But still I'm quite happy about the result; you can have a look at the post by pointing your browser at Traditionals: 15+ magnificent draws and illustrations.

Also, by talking about notes.. in a previous post I was complaining of the lack of down-to-Earth personalities about the admins and the mods. Beside a few ones are nicely talkative, the major of them is not quite answering notes, answering emails (even with help porposal) nor anything.
I wish, once I've been uppering the half milion pageviews, not to become a dried person like them.

Sto cercando dei Cosplayers, ragazzi e ragazze che abbiamo voglia di dedicarmi qualche minuto del loro tempo per raccontarmi come si sono avvicinati a questo mondo, come lo vivono e come lo seguono.

I was watching an espisode of Sex and the City called Unoriginal Sin where Carrie sits on a cafe with Charlotte playing the "one on a hundred" game: the girls have to note down how many men passing by the street they would like to have sex with. Aside the sex part, I was thinking about the life of those other people on Earth; I mean, I'm a common human being, I live, sleep, eat, drink, watch, keep in touch with other people, work, dream, love and all those things.. but do you do?
When you turn the pc off and leave deviantART in the cybernetic limbo what are you used to do? What are your favourite readings? Or your fave food? Do you like spending sundays watching tv wearing your pijamas or you go out early to have a run? You work in the slepless and quiet nite or prefer the shiny daylight? You take everything from other people or just let them passing right beside you without notice nothing?
I walk by the street and see people living fast and faster, phone in a hand, hot java coffee in the other with everything but nothing in their mind.

I just ask you not to fullfill my email with all the strangest requests that I've had in the latest year (like: "please design a template for my joomla dog's website" or "I need help: do a me logo quickly and freely for my auntie's bridge circle") I will trash them before get at the end of the email.

Today I browsed off the site for a while, it's some time I'm thinking about being a volunteer here but actually my time is so few I cannot imagine how much work I'd have to do.
So decided to have a look at those GM pages and felt a bit upset: there are many people leaving, many wishes for their lives and too many seem to be left outside alone. It's almost 6 years I'm here, posting my deviations, learning from others, trying to help who wants some advices (and I can assure you it's not that easy teaching Poser lightnings via notes!), even tried to get partecipant in the forums. It's so gratifiying when you see people walking on their own legs that waves you "thanks", it's so gratifying helping with just a single word and it's too damn gratifying when someone shows appreciation for my little dedication to the cause.

But the feel I always had inside is the same I have today: there's a closed circle that it's so difficult to get confortable within.

I know people are doing their most - and beyond - to catch up every single user and take care of every trivial thing here. My view is a bit different: instead of having few moderators wouldn't it be better to have a gallery team leader and a whole bunch of people acting only for that? Seems silly, it acts this way maybe but I cannot see all those people leaving their role to have a down-to-Earth personality. Am I wrong?
Does a role like this evolves your spirit to a higher stadium? Is that Olympus so golden to discard your friendly being?
Where's your soul then? Again: am I wrong?
